Am I the only one who was expecting this to be way funnier? I went in thinking I’d get a good laugh, but it felt dull most of the time. There were a few funny moments here and there, but a lot of it just came off awkward and not really worth it

I booked tickets through alcotraz.co.uk it was a smooth process. The dates and times were easy to see, and the payment went through without any stress. I do remember having that little moment where I was clicking around trying to find one bit of booking info, but it didn’t take long and wasn’t a big deal. The confirmation email came through quickly too, which was a relief because I always like having that sorted straight away. Overall, a good experience, 4 stars from me.

I had a booking issue and reached out for help, but the replies were really slow and I never got a clear answer. It felt like no one was that bothered about fixing it. The staff kind of ruined the vibe for us. They weren’t exactly rude the whole time, but every time we asked something simple, they answered in this snappy way that made it feel like we were bothering them. It almost felt like they were trying to rush us along or hoping we’d just leave so they didn’t have to deal with us. Maybe that wasn’t their intention, but that’s definitely how it came across. The whole night ended up feeling awkward and way less fun than it should’ve been. I wouldn’t go back

I don’t know, this just didn’t hit like I expected. It felt forced and awkward the whole time, and the prison atmosphere wasn’t nearly as convincing as it should’ve been. The actors seemed kind of checked out, which made it even harder to get into. I’d heard this used to be a lot better, so for the price, I was disappointed...

I was hoping to get more into the roleplay, but I barely got a chance to join in. It felt kind of awkward just sitting there waiting for an opening, and even the little pauses between people talking started to feel really noticeable...

we got there on time, but check-in felt a little all over the place. the staff were friendly enough, it just took longer than we expected and we weren’t really sure where to stand at first. once we got sorted, everything was fine, but it definitely wasn’t the smoothest start to the night.

Went to Alcotraz with a bunch of mates and it ended up being such a fun night, the actors were really into it and stayed in character the whole time which made it way funnier than I expected and everyone in our group was laughing pretty much from the moment it got going.

It does get a bit cramped when it’s busy and the waiting around at the start felt a little longer than it needed to be, but once we were inside and settled into it, the whole thing had a good vibe and we kind of forgot about that quickly.

I’d definitely say it’s a good shout for a birthday or just a group night out, it’s not exactly cheap but we all had a laugh, got into the silliness of it, and left in a really good mood so it felt worth it

Went to Alcotraz with a few friends once we were inside I was in such a good mood. The whole setup was fun, a bit silly in the best way, and we had a proper laugh together.

I’m giving it 3 stars mainly because the location threw us off a bit. We were already a little flustered trying to find it, and because it’s tucked away we actually walked past it at first. If you don’t know the area, it’s definitely easy to miss.

Getting transport afterwards was okay, but it didn’t feel super convenient late at night. I’d still go again because the experience itself was a good time, but next time I’d plan the route properly so I’m not wandering around feeling confused before we even get there.
